“DRAMA QUEENS” EDITORIAL FOR GOJI MAGAZINE VOL. 4 ISSUE 14

STYLED & DIRECTED BY SHARRA GREENE

Hey loves! Just dropping by the blog to share my latest editorial work for the cover of Goji Magazine. Goji’s concept is all about “unconditional love for femininity with no borders” and if you know my aesthetic, you know that Goji and I were the perfect match for this project.

I was so blessed to blend styles from various brands with the work of sustainable artwear designer Hannah Jane being at the forefront! Hannah has been a guest on my podcast (check out her episode here) and we’ve been talking for months about executing an editorial together so I had a blast combining her aesthetic with mine! (Her work is so bomb, check her out on Instagram)

My partner in creative crime Damon Rice killed this photo set per usual, and models Cyana Denby (my favorite Eagles cheerleader) and the gorgeous Nioby Scarbrough had such great chemistry on camera, it was crazy to watch in real time. (Stay tuned to my Instagram for more behind the scenes footage coming soon!) Makeup Artist Teashera Smith was able to come in super last minute and absolutely SLAY these beauties’ faces and my amazing assistant Destiny made this shoot run so smoothly for me so that I could focus on final looks and directing.

Get your copy of Goji Magazine here! Stay tuned for more of my editorial projects coming very soon! In the meantime, browse the blog for more style tips or listen to my podcast for venting sessions on my life as a stylist and exclusive interviews with fashion creatives!

XOXO,

Sharra

Just dropping by the blog to share my latest editorial featured in Salyse Magazine’s Shades of Elegance series, Vol 7 No. 24. For “Attitude Problem$”, I wanted the styling to focus on rich, luxurious textures and bold silhouettes. Model Tabitha Wolf of the amazing 208 Management contributed dynamic posing and served us endless face.

This was my first time teaming with Marissa Morris of Missallaneous Media. Marissa provided top tier photography and creative direction to this whole concept, capturing every important in every shot. Makeup Artist Virginia Wilkens gave us impeccable beats to compliment each look. Special thanks to shoe designer Shatiarra Monroe for believing in my vision and allowing me to incorporate your gorgeous gold mules!

The editorial is full of attitude (hence the name), statement pieces, and an elite atmosphere. Check out my faves from the shoot below and catch the full spread in print or digital here!

"THE TIMELESS WOMAN" EDITORIAL FOR ELEGANT MAGAZINE, STYLED & CREATIVELY DIRECTED BY SHARRA GREENE, FEATURING MODEL JENNIFER CELINE, PHOTOGRAPHED BY DAMON RICE, MAKEUP BY KRISTIN PATTERSON

With everyone in society still referencing iconic trends from every era under the sun in order to create memorable looks for themselves and others, I wanted to style and direct an editorial showcasing the versatility of women’s style as it relates to time, making the point that with confidence, you can channel any point in history and still make it fresh and modern, yet timeless. My main inspirations for the looks were the eclectic, tomboyish charm seen in the 70’s and the unapologetically sexy swag of the 90’s.

Model Jennifer Celine posed fiercely and accordingly for the spread seen in gorgeous cat eye makeup looks by artist Kristin Patterson. My genius creative partner Damon Rice killed the concept visually, per usual. (If you follow my blog, you’re more than familiar with his work.) See a few of my top faves from the spread below, featured in Elegant Magazine’s February Fashion #5 Issue.

In this photo series, I wanted to capture the style and attitude of a woman with both around the way appeal, and high fashion qualities and taste. Her style is always bold and a tad sporty. I combined retro feels with modern day pieces to create an eclectic version of street style with vibrant prints, colors, and textures. Model Kayana Howard embodied the concept naturally and perfectly. Photographer Damon Rice captured the many layers of each look impeccably. Makeup Artist Ty Hubert created gorgeous cohesive yet clean makeup looks.
