"THE TIMELESS WOMAN" EDITORIAL FOR ELEGANT MAGAZINE, STYLED & CREATIVELY DIRECTED BY SHARRA GREENE, FEATURING MODEL JENNIFER CELINE, PHOTOGRAPHED BY DAMON RICE, MAKEUP BY KRISTIN PATTERSON

With everyone in society still referencing iconic trends from every era under the sun in order to create memorable looks for themselves and others, I wanted to style and direct an editorial showcasing the versatility of women’s style as it relates to time, making the point that with confidence, you can channel any point in history and still make it fresh and modern, yet timeless. My main inspirations for the looks were the eclectic, tomboyish charm seen in the 70’s and the unapologetically sexy swag of the 90’s.

Model Jennifer Celine posed fiercely and accordingly for the spread seen in gorgeous cat eye makeup looks by artist Kristin Patterson. My genius creative partner Damon Rice killed the concept visually, per usual. (If you follow my blog, you’re more than familiar with his work.)           In this photo series, I wanted to capture the style and attitude of a woman with both around the way appeal, and high fashion qualities and taste. Her style is always bold and a tad sporty. I combined retro feels with modern day pieces to create an eclectic version of street style with vibrant prints, colors, and textures. Model Kayana Howard embodied the concept naturally and perfectly. Photographer Damon Rice captured the many layers of each look impeccably. Makeup Artist Ty Hubert created gorgeous cohesive yet clean makeup looks.

     This shoot was all about two beautiful, vintage loving, well dressed women who know how to take anything and make it their own. They know who they are as individuals but they experience life's highs and lows with each other. Their bond is unbreakable. They hurt together. They heal together. They slay together.

     I was very inspired by the idea of strength, confidence, and sisterhood, all in one image. Creating with these beauties and our phenomenal photographer was nothing but good vibes and even better execution. You can definitely expect to see me collaborating with this team again in the near future. 

Don't Touch... Tenea is wearing a vintage faux leather little black dress with fur trim, Inari fishnet stockings, vintage earrrings and rings, thigh high boots, gold scale necklace from my wardrobe collection.
