3 EASY WAYS FOR TODAY'S MINIMALIST TO MAKE THEIR LOOKS SPRING WORTHY

WRITTEN BY SHARRA GREENE

Spring has sprung! For those who like to keep it simple with their style, this vibrant season can tend to be a bit intimidating. You may find yourself wanting to incorporate new seasonal trends into your style without wandering too much outside your comfort zone. Here are a few simple ways you can show you’re embracing Spring without altering your entire wardrobe…

PASTEL POLISH

IMG_8691.jpg

Tell your nail tech you’re in a springy mood and make sure you see every pastel color they got in the shop! Pastel colors are one of my personal fav ways to show I’m embracing the season changing. Wearing pastel polish with darker colored items also breathes new life into some of your shoes & accessories that would typically be seen as Fall/Winter pieces.

VIBRANT HANDBAGS

IMG_8699.jpg

For those who like to stick with all black or neutral colored ensembles, slinging a statement bag in a bright color over your arm can be an easy way to break up the monotony of your look and add some excitement. Plus, the bigger the bag, the bigger the conversation around it.

BUSY PRINTED SHOES

If you’re not yet comfortable experimenting with prints on your tops, bottoms, and dresses yet, a cute sandal or ankle boot in an interesting pattern can be a starting point for you to learn what types of prints you’re drawn to.

I just received the black and white version of the one above and I was more than impressed with the bag’s quality and not to mention, the BOMB customer service! I ordered my bag a few days ago and it shipped and tracked within HOURS! On top of that, they offer $3 flat rate shipping! Go check them out! P.S.  House of Rehab offers more than just bags! They also sell some fly tee's, hoodies, and sweats to keep you warm during this harsh Winter season!

THE MODERN CHIC WOMAN: COLLABORATING WITH BABE

By Sharra Greene

Days upon discovering Babe, a super chic women's clothing boutique in Fells Point, I just knew I had to get in touch with them for a collaboration! I loved the versatility within their collection. And once I payed a visit, I fell completely in love with the overall vibe of the store. The clothing is perfect for the modern woman with good taste and a love for luxe styles!

I worked with the manager at Babe to pull some statement pieces from the boutique for another photo shoot with the oh so talented Eliza Romero- Kovalsky! This time we were going for that Vanity Fair, luxurious, modern vibe. Gorgeous Model Polina Kopii was just right! She nailed each pose and really brought the whole chic, contemporary attitude that Babe is all about, to life. I loved collaborating with this team! See photos from our session below...  P.S. do yourself a favor and stop by Babe! (Located @ 1716 Aliceanna Street. Baltimore, MD. 21231) Tell them Sharra sent you!
